Ashley Hart McIntyre was honored at the YWCA's Annual Tribute to Women Awards on May 12th for her outstanding leadership in the County efforts to reduce chronic homelessness.

Marin County releases results of 2022 Point in Time Count.

The Marin County Council of Mayors and Councilmembers (MCCMC) and the Marin Managers Association (MMA) have released an RFP under the Community Homeless Fund to serve individuals and families, specifically in Marin County, who are experiencing homelessness. This RFP seeks proposals for services including Outreach and Engagement, Rapid Response, Intensive Case Management, Multi-Disciplinary Team, and Mobile Shower Services. Agencies can apply for as few as one or up to all these services in their response.

April housing stats have been posted to the Data Dashboard. Thirteen additional people were housed last month for a total of 478 people housed in permanent supportive housing since October of 2017.

On May 10, the Board of Supervisors will review three agreements about the site at 1251 South Eliseo Drive for the creation of 43 permanent supportive homes for people experiencing chronic homelessness. With the use of Project Homekey funding, the Larkspur site will be owned and operated by Episcopal Community Services in partnership with the County.

In their Fresh Starts Culinary Academy, Homeward Bound of Marin is offering training to secure a job in the food industry! Most students qualify free of charge for this 10-week training which includes working with professional chefs and job placement assistance.
